In recent decades, industrial looms have become highly efficient, leaving virtually no room for human interaction with the machine and thus for creative engagement. Therefore the Space Loom #2 was designed in 2019 to explore three-dimensional weaving. Instead of expecting the machine to provide answers, it is the trail-and-error work process that generates answers to questions the experimenters could not have asked in advance.
