Diarama, a tile collection for Mutina, is a study of a wide range of chromatic shades which are layered over coloured clay tiles – the collection is about pure color, applied on different ceramic bases like a second skin.
Different coloured clay bodies form the base, glazes with varying intensities are layered on top to create several new hues. The surface doesn’t look like it was simply colored, but appears to be mixed like in an oil painting.
